WORD OF THE DAY
From the book of James
Am a Catholic Christian and very proud of
it. Being closer to God always gives me a peace of my mind and soul to an
extent that I got no worries about anything. Now, away from criticizing, let’s
go to the word of the day.
The Bible today tells us that, we should
consider the pure joy, whenever we are faced by trials of many kinds because
this test of faith develops perseverance. Perseverance helps us to mature in
faith and be complete. It goes hand in hand with wisdom, and for us to possess
wisdom we ought to pray to our Heavenly father in faith and not to doubt when
we pray because he who doubts is like a wave of sea, blown and tossed by the
wind and definitely not receive anything from God.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under
trial, because he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that
God has promised to those who love him. We should also remember that God does
not tempt us but rather, each one is tempted by his own evil desires that drag
us and entice us. Then after the desires have conceived, it gives birth to sin;
and when sin is full grown gives birth to death.
Always remember that God chose to give us
birth through the word of truth that we might be a kind of first fruits of all
the created.
This day let’s ask our Heavenly Father in
faith to give us perseverance and wisdom. With that, we shall conquer
everything in life.
Prayer
of the day; O LORD, you hear my voice; In the
morning I lay my request before you and wait in expectations. AMEN!!
